Indications:

Treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of anaerobic or aerobic gram-positive microorganisms, including infections accompanied by bacteremia, such as:

hospital Pneumonia

Community-acquired pneumonia

Complicated skin and skin structure infections, particularly diabetic foot infections without concomitant osteomyelitis, caused by Staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-sensitive and methicillin isolates), Streptococcus pyogenes, or Streptococcus agalactiae;

Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-sensitive isolates only) or Streptococcus pyogenes;

Enterococcal infections, including vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium and faecalis.

If the causative agents of the infection include gram-negative microorganisms, combination therapy is clinically indicated.
