Indications for Opsamit®
Pulmonary arterial hypertension, functional classes II-III according to the WHO classification.
For long-term treatment as monotherapy or as part of combination therapy in adult patients:
- with primary (idiopathic and hereditary) pulmonary arterial hypertension;
- with pulmonary arterial hypertension and compensated uncomplicated congenital heart disease;
- with pulmonary arterial hypertension and connective tissue diseases.
Regimen Dosage
Treatment with this drug should be administered by a physician experienced in the treatment of PAH.
Opsamit® is taken orally at a dose of 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily, regardless of mealtime. The film-coated tablet is not intended to be broken; it should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water.
Opsamit® should be taken every day at the same time. If a patient misses a dose of Opsamit®, it should be taken as soon as possible and then continue taking the drug regularly at the usual time. Do not take 2 tablets at the same time to make up for a missed dose.
